Introduction
While I never offer the presentation twice, like you also have your own specific and evolving interests, there are a number of themes that are really to the core of any in-depth conversation about (food & agribusiness) cooperatives wherever I go: business strategy, internationalisation, capitalisation, governance, member loyalty, and cooperative social responsibility—integrated as 'cooperative strategy'. While always adapting to current developments, over the years I have developed a workshop format that always sparks significant discussion about the current and next phase of the hosting cooperative. Workshop topics are richly being illustrated with best practices in international cooperative business.
This workshop is well-suited as part of a two-day retreat with your Board of Directors and Exective team and, under current Covd circumstances, might also be offered online. The full day workshop, given coverage of your own cooperative’s specific content and demands will require some additional preparations. The workshop may also be invited as en e.g. one hour plenary presentation as part of a national cooperative conference with a mixed group of cooperative representatives, and followed up with a deepening session for a smaller audience of max 30 participants.
